Benny had a dolly who was sick, sick, sick.
Just like him, his dolly needed darkness as a fix, fix, fix.
So they tormented and hunted and played tricks, tricks, tricks.
Together their sins a lethal mix, mix, mix.
Until Benny missed his dolly who was lost, lost, lost.
He needed to find her and love her at any cost, cost, cost.
Not wanting him and his dolly to be alone, lone, lone.
He made plans to bring his dirty dolly, home, home, home.
Have you ever touched another’s soul with the essence of your own, breathed them in so they become apart of you?
Finally starting to live, feel and fall in love, amongst all the chaos surrounding me.
Dropping my guard and letting another into my heart.
I left my soul open.
I left my heart open.
I left the door open.
And he stole me.

Pretty Lost Dolls is the followup to Ker Dukey and K Webster’s Pretty Stolen Dolls. When I picked up Pretty Stolen Dolls, I didn’t know what to expect other than knowing it would be dark and would probably make this newbie dark romance reader cringe a few times, BUT I ended up loving every minute of it! And when I got a grasp on everything from book one–they easily proved you have no idea what they’ll throw at you. In this book they seemed to have gone darker, dirtier, and a little more twisted–as I dove into the crazy world of Pretty Lost Dolls, I couldn’t put it down!
Picking up right where book one ended, Jade finds herself back in Benny’s sick world. The same place she escaped from eight years earlier. Only this time Jade isn’t the helpless little girl she once was. She’s had years of training and experience as a detective. A woman out for vengeance. However, no one’s ever truly prepared for what they’ll encounter in Benny’s world.
Jade is a fighter. A survivor. And through the support and love of her partner, Dillon, she learns that after everything she’s been through that her heart is still reachable and capable of being happy.
“There’s a real fine line between love and hate, and I like that you border there. It makes you taste sweeter. Make no mistake who you belong to.”
Benny can’t live without his “Dirty Little Doll.” Over the years, he’s grown bigger, stronger, and he’ll do whatever it takes to keep her to himself. In Pretty Lost Dolls we get to experience what goes on in Benny’s head. He begins to show us a tender and more complicated side as he shares his past with us. It gives us answers and a reason for becoming the monster he is. His past in no way excuses him of his actions, but there were times I found myself “feeling” for Benny. And I’m one who rarely feels for a villain.
“Even when you’re not with me…” he pounds his chest over his heart with his fist, “you’re with me.”
Ker and K created the PERFECT combination of dark romance and suspense with this duet. I couldn’t get enough of Benny, Jade, and Dillon’s world–and I don’t think there could have been a more EPIC conclusion to their story. If you’re looking for a dark, twisted, and suspenseful read–one that will push some of your boundaries as a reader, then I highly recommend this series!

About Ker Dukey
My books all tend to be darker romance, edge of you seat, angst filled reads. My advice to my readers when starting one of my titles…prepare for the unexpected.
I have always had a passion for storytelling, whether it be through lyrics or bed time stories with my sisters growing up.
My mum would always have a book in her hand when I was young and passed on her love for reading, inspiring me to venture into writing my own. I tend to have a darker edge to my writing. Not all love stories are made from light; some are created in darkness but are just as powerful and worth telling.
When I’m not lost in the world of characters I love spending time with my family. I’m a mum and that comes first in my life but when I do get down time I love attending music concerts or reading events with my younger sister.
Come find me on Facebook, where I love interacting with my readers.
