I didn’t notice her before…but now I do.
The shiny strands of gold in her silky brown hair.
Tiny crinkles between her eyebrows when she frowns.
Her passion for neatness.
Once I focus on her, I can’t take my eyes from my newest obsession. Ever.
I need to know everything about her.
Her past. Her present.
The way she takes her coffee.
Exactly how she smells after a spritz of perfume in the mornings.
She’s perfect in every way and I was blind.
But, God, now do I see.
I notice the organized way she arranges her clothes in her closet.
How she visits the same market each Saturday.
The sounds of her breathing as I lie beneath her bed in silence.
Violet is mine.
She just doesn’t know it yet.
Notice is a dark and unusual romance. Extreme sexual themes and violence in certain scenes, which could trigger emotional distress, are found in this story. If you are sensitive to dark themes, then this story is not for you. If you aren’t into super obsessive stalkers, then this story is not for you.
Dark, taboo, controversial situations—everything I would usually shy away from. However, when it’s K. Webster behind the words, I throw all caution to the wind and dive in.
“There’s only room for one freak in her world. And I take up a lot of space.”
Is it wrong to be totally in love with a stalker?! Even if it’s a fictional one? If so, then I refuse to choose what’s right. Grayson Maxwell—I’m totally enamored by him. He’s possessive, dark and broody, and a certified stalker. Tons of warning flags flying, yet I completely adored him. Especially after he notices Violet—the only girl to drag him to the present and draw out his sweet, protective side.
“‘Why can’t you just date her like a normal person? Is it necessary to stalk her?’
Me: I’m trying. And until then, yes.”
Violet Simmons—I loved this heroine. She’s a true survivor. She has a dark past she’s hiding from. She’d been through so much and faced so many challenges in life, I couldn’t help but admire her for her strength.
“Sometimes love isn’t black or white. Sometimes love isn’t even in color.”
I was completely obsessed with Notice. It’s complex, dark, captivating—an intense story with beautifully flawed characters only K. Webster can craft to make a sane person love.
I loved this book from the very first page. Make sure to read the author warning and if you decide to try it, I suggest going in with an open mind. If you’re like me, then you won’t regret the crazy, twisted ride.
