Ella

Since I was a little girl, I have been surrounded by hate, death, murder, and
slavery. I’ve been guarded my whole life by my brother—Raze, the kingpin of the
underworld and the most feared individual in the United States of America. And
then further more guarded when I found out the president of The Devil’s Own MC
was my long lost half-brother. Being tossed around from one extreme protection
to another has left a part of me yearning to break out of it’s cage. The part
that I’ve tried to sugar coat and hide, because if she’s unleashed, everyone
would see just how much like my brothers I am.

Panting, wanting, needing to unleash the side of me I’ve always known was
there.

My secret is mine and my brothers.

Only they know what I hide and why I hide it. How I fight for love because if I
don’t, my rage would win and I’d be a mere shadow of the girl people have grown
to know.

But I broke.

And the man who held the hammer that shattered the walls I spent years building
to cage in my rage—was a psychopath.

My Review
4.5 Stars!

Have you ever read a book and thought to yourself: “OMG. What am I reading? I can’t believe I’m reading this…” while not being able to stop. Yeah, that’s usually me while I’m reading a book by Amo. She’s one of the few that have me questioning my sanity, while simultaneously enjoying the insanity within her books.

Razing Grace: Parts 1 and 2 were my first books by Amo, so this series holds special meaning for me. And I feel like I’d been waiting forever for The Devil’s Match, but that wait was totally worth it. I calling Frost and Ella the star-crossed lovers of dark romance. These two were dynamite, unrelenting, possessive. Their love story spans the length of years. It was complete chaos, but it was the beauty within that chaos I loved.

I’m purposely going to keep this review vague because like all of Amo’s stories, it’s filled with twists you don’t see coming and should always be experienced for your own. This book won’t be for everyone. There’s parts and situations that are somewhat horrific, but if your a fan of the dark and twisted in your romance, then definitely give Amo’s The Devil’s Own series a try! I’m somewhat selective when it comes to this sub-genre and can easily say she’s a favorite of mine.
